Payment Terms

Gadgeteer.co.nz does not accept tax exempt IDs or resale certificates for online purchases. In rare instances, items may be mispriced due to system errors. Should the correct price of an item be higher than stated, we will contact you for further instructions or cancel the order and notify you of the cancellation.
Credit Card Verification
At Gadgeteer.co.nz, customer security is paramount. We conduct credit card verifications (“CC checks”) to prevent unauthorized use of your card. An email with instructions for completing the CC check will be sent if necessary. Orders will not be shipped until the verification process is completed.
Order Processing
- Orders are subject to a security review for your protection. See our Security Statement for more details.
- We strive to fulfill orders promptly. However, delays may occur due to our limited workforce or supply chain issues. We will communicate any significant delays directly.
- Gadgeteer.co.nz does not offer click-and-collect or pickup services.
Checking Order Status
The most efficient way to check your order status is by logging into your account on our website. Alternatively, you can contact our sales team at sales@gadgeteer.co.nz with your order number for assistance.
Receiving Your Order
- Our shipments require a signature upon delivery and do not allow for an authority-to-leave by default. Contact our Sales Team for alternative delivery arrangements.
- Please inspect your order upon receipt. Do not discard packaging or fill out warranty cards until you are certain you will keep the items.
- Report any damaged or missing items within three (3) business days of receipt. If your package arrives damaged, it is your responsibility to contact the shipping carrier to ensure a full refund or replacement.
Cancellation and Processing Fees
Cancellations not due to supply issues or unreasonable delays will incur a 2.5% payment processing fee deducted from the refund. Exchange of goods or store credit cancellations will not incur this fee unless later refunded. Store credits expire after 36 months.
Return and Exchange Policy
We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your needs. Under certain conditions, returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days of receipt. This does not apply to non-returnable items such as custom orders, special sale items, or health and safety sensitive products like earphones. A restocking fee of up to 30% may apply. Returns should be in original packaging and condition, at the customer’s expense.
Non-Returnable Items Include:
- Software, DVDs, and license codes
- Custom ordered or made goods
- Non-stocked items
- Open box, sale, or clearance items
- Special order items and all cables, converters, and USB hubs
Product Representation
We aim to accurately depict our products online, though we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display will accurately reflect colors. Decisions should not be based solely on online images; please consult product specifications.
Sales Limitations
Gadgeteer.co.nz reserves the right to limit sales to any person, region, or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis. We may change product descriptions and pricing at any time without notice and discontinue products as necessary. Offers are void where prohibited.
Quality Assurance
We do not guarantee that products or services will meet all your expectations or that service errors will be corrected. It is the customer’s responsibility to understand the specifications and limitations of purchased products.
Health and Safety
Due to health and safety requirements, all headphones, earphones, and wearables are non-returnable unless faulty.
